The Fairmont Farmers Market is held every Sunday morning in the summer from 10am-2pm.Take your time and stroll through the vendor booths featuring freshly made food, locally grown produce, and handcrafted items.After the market grab a coffee or lunch at Valley Coffee Co. and take a hike or walk on one of the many trails around Fairmont or a relaxing float down the river.

The Columbia Valley Classic Car Club was formed in Radium Hot Springs in 1989, this was the first year the Radium Show & Shine was held. The inaugural event welcomed 75 cars and was located in the Radium Ball Field, now Legends Field. 2023, 32 years later the local Columbia Valley Classic Car Club welcomes over 1000 cars to the Village of Radium Hot Springs for this event that is now hosted on the Springs Course Driving Range. This event kicks off the holiday season in the valley with an official "Light Up" the downtown. Stroll the downtown shops - who often have great deals and gifts on this night, and pick up a hot cup of cocoa. Valley Appreciation Day has been one of the summer’s highlights in Invermere and the Columbia Valley BC each year for more than 30 years ~ always familiar yet always evolving into a bigger and better festival. The huge celebration takes place on Main Street in Invermere BC on a Saturday to coincide with the regular Farmers’ Market, making for a whole lot of fun for the whole family. The main stage is refered to as the COLUMBIA Stage and then the KOOTENAY Stage will host a variety of music entertainment in between the Columbia Stage acts. No downtime in between artists, so get your dancing shoes...or boots...ready to enjoy this fantastic lineup of talented artists! Headliners will take to the main stage, and the incredible local talent on a side stage will entertain guests between main stage sets. During the show, families will also find entertainment in the children's section with face-painting and other fun-filled activities for all ages. As well, a market is located onsite with local vendors selling food, clothing, jewelry and many other unique crafts and wares.
