We are a family-run small business with 15 employees - the health, well-being and safety of our team, owners, vacationing guests and our community are paramount. We are grateful to live and work in the beautiful Columbia Valley. We believe the nature, mountains and lakes provide relaxing and healing qualities and invite you to join us in the experience!
Our properties…
All of our 50+ vacation homes and cabins have private entrances and are self contained with no communal areas. Social distancing is made easy here with amenities such as private decks with gas BBQ's & amazing views; fully-equipped kitchens; complimentary Wi-Fi dedicated to each property; trails from your door and contact-less self-check in. Our worry-free, flexible, booking & cancellation policies give you peace of mind - see 'Payment & Cancellation' section below for details.
When travelling to Fairmont and the Columbia Valley area, please practice SMART travel!
- Stay home if you are feeling sick.
- Measure physical distancing by taking care to remain 2 meters from others.
- Act appropriately. Sanitize your hands often and follow recommendations from health officials.
- Respect rules, guidelines and protocols. Most importantly, respect and show kindness towards others.

Are the Fairmont Hot Springs available?
- Fairmont Hot Springs pools are not included in your stay, they are a separate business and entrance fees can be purchased upon your arrival to the Fairmont Hot Springs pools.
- Radium Hot Pools are open (vaccine pass not required), and there are other ideas for springs and water experiences here.
- Restaurants are open for in-house dining and take-out.

What's your cleaning process?
- All properties are diligently cleaned and disinfected after each stay following the directions provided by Worksafe BC and the BC Ministry of Health.
- Prior to your arrival, our Housekeeping Management Team checks your property to ensure it is at our high 'Guest Ready' standard and sanitizes all high-touch hot spots such as door handles, light switches, hand rails, thermostats, phones, remotes etc.
- We do not offer Housekeeping Services during your stay, however we are available to drop off additional supplies should you require them.

How to Make a Booking

Booking Policies, Groups & pets
Minimum Age Requirement
No guest younger than 25 years of age on the day of check-in will be permitted to rent unless accompanied in the same property by a parent or guardian. Please be aware that guests that do not meet the minimum age policy will be denied check-in or will be required to vacate a rented property and any payments are non-refundable. Fairmont Creek Vacation Rentals reserves the right to ask for proof of age.
Bachelor/Bachelorette Groups, Groups of Singles & Events
Fairmont Creek Vacation Rentals do not accommodate bachelor/bachelorette or similar groups.
Groups of singles can be accommodated with a maximum occupancy of 1 person per bed (EG in a property with 8 beds sleeping up-to 16 the maximum number of single adults allowed at the property at one time is 8).
Weddings and parties are not permitted in any of our properties without prior approval in writing from Fairmont Creek Vacation Rentals.
Pets/Smoking
Please note that all units are strictly PET FREE with the exception of Marble Canyon 701, The Residences at Fairmont Ridge Units 11 & 14, Creekside Cabin, Falcon Cabin and Timbers Resort Cabins.
Pet fee is $25 per night. Limit of 1 large or 2 small dogs per unit. Fee is per dog, to a maximum of $100+GST per stay, per dog.
All units are strictly non-smoking however smoking is permitted on decks and patios. Please use the ashtrays provided.
If evidence of smoking or a pet is found in any property, additional minimum cleaning charges of $250 will apply.
Prior to arrival, guests are required to complete a reservation form which confirms and details the number of people staying in the accommodation.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Worry-free Cancellation
- Prior to 30 days: Reservations canceled prior to 30 days before arrival can be re-booked at another time subject to availability, if not re-booked a cancellation fee of $50.00 will be charged and the remaining deposit amount will be refunded.
- Within 30 days: Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable, however, a $50.00 cancellation fee is deducted and the remaining balance is held as a credit to be used within the following 12 months.
- Inside 72 hours: Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to the check-in date are non-refundable.
Payment
- Courtesy hold - hold your vacation property free of charge for 48 hours while making your decision with your group.
- Payment - the first nights rent at the time of booking and the final balance 30 days prior to arrival.
- Visa or Mastercard credit cards are accepted - a valid credit card is required to book.
Changes
- Changes: make changes to dates or your rental property with no change fees - only pay the difference in cost where applicable.
- Cancellations via a travel agent or third party - if you booked via RCI, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia etc please contact your booking agency for policies applicable to your reservation.

Golf, Ski Lift Tickets, Pool Passes &Third Party Service Providers
In the event of price alterations by a third party service provider, such as (but not limited to) golfing, lift tickets or pool passes, Fairmont Creek Vacation Rentals reserves the absolute right to collect the revised amount from the guest or will refund the service cost if such services have not yet been rendered.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is charged for each property on the day of arrival by means of credit card pre-authorization. Providing no policies are violated or additional charges incurred during the stay including (but not limited to) noise complaints, excessive wear and tear, damage, additional cleaning or garbage removal the pre-authorization will automatically be removed by the guest’s credit card company. The guest agrees to pay for all incidental charges and damages incurred during their stay. Security deposit amounts vary depending on the property reserved:
- Timbers Resort Cabins – $250.00
- All other properties – $500.00
- Private Vacation Homes – $1,000.00
Policies During Your Stay
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in is anytime after 5:00 pm (4pm for Timbers Cabins) directly at the rental property. Property coded locks are automated to operate from 5:00 pm and will not work prior to that time.
Check-out is at 10:00 am. Guests are required to remove all garbage and recycling, leave the property tidy and start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes prior to departure.
Early check-in and/or late check-outs can sometimes be accommodated depending on the availability of the property. Contact the office 24-48 hours prior to your check-in/out to request an early check-in or late check-out.
Guest Supplies/What Should I Bring
All properties are equipped with a complimentary “STARTER KIT” of toilet paper, coffee filters, dishwashing detergent, laundry soap, paper towel, plastic bags, and Kleenex. Please visit Fairmont Mountainside Market in Fairmont Hot Springs or the General Store at Panorama Resort for all your basic needs.
We do not supply: beach towels for the Hot Spring pools, cling wrap, tin foil, blenders, hair dryers, shampoo, shower gels, conditioner etc. Due to current recommendations we also do not supply coffee, tea and salt & pepper.
Quiet Time
Quiet time is observed from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please respect the comfort of your neighbours. Any unreasonable noise or disruptions would result in forfeiture of the security deposit and/or fines. Speakers are not permitted outside the property or on decks at any time.
Parking
Each property has a minimum of 2 allocated parking spaces. If you require additional parking or plan on bringing a large vehicle, boat or RV please contact the office prior to your arrival for parking information. Please note that the Marble Canyon Townhomes do not allow parking for boats, trailers or RVs as per the Strata Bylaws, failure to adhere to the Strata Bylaws may result in a fine – our Reservations Team can recommend alternate parking for your larger vehicles.
Internet and Phones
Most properties are equipped with property specific WiFi Internet and phones with long distance calling. Please check with the office to see if this is included at your property free of charge.
High Chairs and Play-Pens
Baby equipment is available for complimentary loan at our Fairmont Hot Springs locations - availability is limited and must be reserved in advance. Guests will require their own bedding for play-pens.
Housekeeping
Your property will be clean and ready for your arrival. Daily housekeeping can be arranged through our office for an additional fee. Washers and dryers are provided in most properties. Additional towels can be delivered to your property with 24 hours notice.
Lost and Found Items
Personal belongings left in a property after a guests departure will be held at the Fairmont Creek office for 30 days and every effort will be made to contact the guest who made the reservation. Postage costs plus a 15% administration fee are the responsibility of the Guest. In the event that the item is not claimed within 30 days of it being found it will be donated to a local charity thrift store.

Our office is open Monday-Saturday from 8.30 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed Sundays and holidays.
Our office is located in the heart of Fairmont next to the Fairmont Grocery Store. Our local, friendly staff are available in person or over the phone.
