We hire seasonally for our Property Care & Housekeeping Team, with opportunities typically available for two seasonal periods:

Summer Season: May – October
Recruitment will begin in January 2027.

Winter Season: October – May
Recruitment begins in August 2027.

• Do I get my own room? Yes—private room + bathroom.
• How many hours? Typically 30–40/week, seasonal roles are 6 months approximately Oct–Apr & April-October.
• Do I need a car? Yes - to be able to enjoy all the Columbia Valley has to offer as public transport is very limited.
• Lift passes? We help with access/assistance for Fairmont/Panorama in winter.
• Can couples/friends apply? Yes—mention this in your application; we’ll try to coordinate housing and working schedules where possible.

Spring

Summer

• Golf: The Columbia Valley is one of Canada’s premier golf destinations, with several courses minutes away.
• Community Events: Outdoor markets, music nights, and local festivals fill the calendar.

Fall

• Golden Larches: Hike or bike through brilliant yellow larch forests in September and October.
• Quiet Season: Enjoy the peaceful side of the valley before winter kicks in—great for reflection and recharging.
• Warm Days, Cool Nights: Perfect for campfires, stargazing, and crisp mountain air.

Winter

• Fairmont Ski Hill: A small, relaxed hill just minutes from staff housing—perfect for learning or enjoying uncrowded runs.
• Panorama Mountain Resort: World-class skiing and snowboarding only 35 minutes away, with lift-pass assistance available through Fairmont Creek.
• Lake Windermere Whiteway: The Guinness World Record holder for the longest naturally frozen skating trail (over 30 km!)—ideal for skating, classic cross-country, or skate-skiing.
• Learn-to-Skate Programs: A fun way to pick up a new skill before hitting the Whiteway.
• Curling League: Join the local “fun league” to meet the community and experience true Canadian winter culture.
