We’re looking for a friendly, capable and detail-oriented Reservations & Guest Service Specialist to join Fairmont Creek Vacation Rentals.
You’ll join our fabulous, close-knit crew. We work hard, support one another, have a few laughs along the way, and take real pride in delivering exceptional service to our guests and property owners.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- You’ll be one of the key people helping our guests from their first inquiry right through to check-out, while making sure every reservation is complete, accurate and correctly processed.
- Chatting with guests by phone, email and online booking platforms.
- Turning inquiries into confirmed reservations.
- Managing bookings and keeping calendars accurate and up to date.
- Processing payments and making sure reservation details are correct.
- Coordinating with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so arrivals run smoothly.
- Providing clear, friendly pre-arrival and post-stay communication.
- Helping guests when questions or issues pop up.
- Keeping an eye on Airbnb, VRBO and other booking channels to make sure everything is connected and working properly.
- Spotting booking, occupancy or rate opportunities and sharing them with our Sales & Marketing team.
- Helping with general office administration and keeping things organized behind the scenes.
You’ll Fit Right In If You Are:
- Friendly, warm and genuinely enjoy helping people.
- Organized and someone who notices the little details.
- Comfortable juggling a few things at once and keeping things organized.
- Confident with computers and happy learning new systems.
- A clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Reliable, positive and willing to jump in when the team needs a hand.
- Comfortable working independently, but happiest being part of a collaborative team.
- Someone who takes pride in doing a great job.
Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, reservations, customer service or administration would be great, but we’re equally interested in finding the right person with the right attitude.
The Schedule:
This is a permanent position, approximately 30 hours per week, with a four-day-style working week, Wednesdays off, and some flexible weekend coverage.
The role is primarily office-based, with some flexible remote hours available after the training period.
Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to help cover team vacations or particularly busy periods.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
We think where you work and who you work with matters.
At Fairmont Creek Vacation Rentals, you’ll join a supportive team who enjoy working together, help each other out and share a common goal: providing exceptional service and memorable stays for our guests.
You’ll also get:
- $24+/ hr
- Wellness program
- Company events
- Permanent, year-round employment.
- A varied role where no two days are quite the same.
- A friendly, professional work environment.
- The opportunity to build your skills in tourism, reservations and vacation rental management.
- A team that values initiative, ideas and a sense of humour.
- And, of course, the opportunity to live and work in the Columbia Valley — where hiking, biking, skiing, golf, lakes and hot springs are all part of everyday life.
