Fish, Float, Boat & Raft
There is something special about water and how many wonderful memories are made when we head to the beach, soak in Hot Springs, or float down the river.
Known as the land of lakes and rivers, the Columbia Valley has so many waterways to fish, paddle, and play on. Find your next adventure whether it be fishing, grabbing a tube to float the river, or heading out for a day on a boat!
Float the Columbia River
A popular activity on a hot summer day for locals and visitors alike. Relax on the water in the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
Fairmont Hot Springs: Rent a tube or small non-motorized craft from Fairmont Outpost & Outdoors, or bring your own. Put in at the southern end of Fairmont at the bridge by the fire hall, adjacent to Spruce Grove RV Resort. Enjoy a leisurely float through the golf course for approximately 2-3 hours. The takeout is at Will's Road.
Invermere: Rent a tube, SUP, kayak or canoe from Columbia River Paddle and put in at the Athalmer Bridge. Float north to Radium through exceptional wetland landscapes for 3 hours.

Lake Lillian is closest to our Panorama properties, just a quick 15-minute drive away. Lake Lillian is a small lake with great opportunities for picnicking, swimming, and paddling.
