The private hot tub, community beach on the shores of Windermere Lake and central location to Invermere, Panorama Resort, Radium and Fairmont Hot Springs make it a perfect basecamp for valley adventures – whether a winter ski trip or summer lake escape!
Comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests, there are 5 cozy bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with luxury linens and guest comfort in mind – there are 2 king beds, 2 queens, 2 twins, a bunk bed, plus a futon in the den - each room a peaceful haven after a day of exploring. The master bedroom and den are located on the main floor, the 4 additional bedrooms are located on the lower level.
We understand traveling with kids! That's why our space is equipped with a crib, playpen, highchair and baby gates. The littles will love the assortment of toys, engaging books, and family-friendly games, including a Wii console for a bit of indoor fun in the lower level family room.
The heart of the home is the inviting living area, featuring a fireplace for those chilly evenings and a large screen TV with cable TV and streaming. The living area is open plan to the dining table, breakfast bar and fully equipped kitchen - complete with a coffee station to kick start your day. Outside the kitchen window is a stunning Mountain Ash tree - it’s abundance of berries welcomes lots of birds and provides the inspiration for our cabin name.
Patio doors lead onto a large upper deck with lots of seating for soaking in your surroundings and local wildlife over morning coffee, or perhaps an afternoon cocktail. Grill your favourite meals on the private BBQ.
The lower level features a second, large family room with TV, games and a walk out patio to the private hot tub and yard - the quiet neighbourhood providing a tranquil backdrop to your stay.
Explore the nature trails to the community beach, a stunning place to play in the summer with warm water ideal for swimming or in winter with hockey rinks and direct access to the ‘Whiteway’ – the worlds longest skating trail! In addition to the private beach, there is a kids playground and open playing fields along with tennis, basketball and pickleball courts.

Property Amenities
- Parking available on the driveway for up to 4 vehicles. If travelling with oversized vehicles/trailers, please advise at the time of booking. Parking on the road is not permitted at any time.
- Ashberry Cabin is equipped with a started kit of supplies including: toilet paper, Kleenex, hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, dishwashing detergent, laundry soap, paper towel, salt & pepper, oil, coffee, coffee filters & garbage bags.
- Baby items included in Ashberry Cabin are a crib, play-pen & baby gate. Additional baby items are available when confirmed in advance, are complimentary and in your property on arrival. Please bring your own bedding for baby.
- For groceries and other supplies, No Frills is the closest grocery store a 3 minute drive away.

"This home is better than as described and even better than the pics illustrate it is very spacious and could easily accommodate the 10 guests! It was so easy to feel at home from the moment we were inside. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any rental we have had, & for many years now, we do Air BnB's at least 3 times a year. Every appliance, tons of spices and staple items, extra cutlery. The couple things we could not find, a hair dryer & a mouse & keyboard were quickly brought over to us. A bad lighting storm happened while we were guests and took the internet down. The property manager was attentive and kept checking in on us to see when it was restored. Turns out that it burnt the modem out. They were willing to fix at that very moment but quite frankly we enjoyed having the kids attention and quality family time with no internet, so asked them to wait to repair it. That last day was bliss as a result"

Policies
- Check-in 5:00 pm / Check-out 10 am - directions and door access code are emailed 5 days prior to arrival.
- Deposit of the first night room and tax is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is charged 30 days prior to arrival, or in full at the time of booking if inside 30 days.
- Cancellation Policy - cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable; however, a $50 cancellation fee is deducted and the balance is held as a credit to be used within 12 months. Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival are forfeited without refund/credit. Cancellations made prior to 30 days before arrival can be re-booked at another time subject to availability, if not re-booked a fee of $50 will be charged and the balance will be refunded.
- Minimum Age Requirement – minimum age of booking guest is 25 years. Guests who do not meet this requirement will be denied check-in and cancellation penalties will apply.
- Security Deposit for our luxury homes is $1,000 pre-authorised to the credit card on file on the day of arrival. If all policies are followed and the property incurs no loss or additional cleaning, pre-authorisation is released.
- Pets/Smoking - Pets are smoking are strictly prohibited.
