Funtasia Fun Park
Play the day away at Funtasia Fun Park! Just north of Fairmont Hot Springs, Funtasia Fun Park is a fun day for all ages. Enjoy a petting zoo (donkeys, mini horses, rabbits, llama, and more), mini golf and bumper cars.
Ozzie's Amusements
Ozzie's Amusements n Windermere is great fun for the whole family! This activity park is located 15 minutes from our Fairmont Hot Springs properties and is a great spot for go-karting and mini golf along with a snack bar.
Open from May long weekend until Thanksgiving.
Valley Alley Bowling Centre
Go for a bowl at Valley Alley! Play at the six lane, five pin bowling centre with automatic scoring, licensed lounge, golf simulators, and tournament grade pool tables.
Mineral Mountain Ziplines
Mineral Mountain Ziplines located at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is a six-line course which features 6 mind-blowing lines that provide a thrilling combination of speed, height, and distance. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Hoodoos, Columbia Lake, Rocky Mountains and more!
Valley Zipline Adventures
Valley Zipline Adventures is an amazing hands-on zipline experience. Take in beautiful views on the fully guided, 7-zipline tour to zig-zag across the Dry Gulch Valley.
Panorama Adventure Camp
Panorama Kids Camp, located at Panorama Mountain Resort, runs for two weeks in the summer for hcildren ages 7 - 12 years old. Each day has a theme and will get kids hands-on exploring the outdoors, experiencing all Panorama resort has to offer, and building friendships with the group and dedicated leaders!
Mount Nelson Skatepark
Located in Invermere, Mount Nelson Skatepark is a great skatepark, open green space, pump track for small riders, and outdoor exercise area. It's a popular spot for locals and visitors.
Windermere Beach
Windermere Beach is is located a quick 10-minute drive from Fairmont Hot Springs. This public beach offers a pebbly entry to the water, picnic tables, a small playground, shade, washrooms, and a swimming dock.
Canal Flats Beach, Tilley Memorial Park
Enjoy the crisp, fresh waters of Columbia Lake in Canal Flats. Tilley Memorial Park is located 20 minutes south of Fairmont on Columbia Lake with pebble beach, covered picnic tables, outhouses, boat launch.
Note that user fees apply at $3/day.
James Chabot Provincial Park
Enjoy the warm waters of Lake Windermere! James Chabot Provincial Park is a free day-use beach located just 15 minutes from rentals in Fairmont Hot Springs and Panorama.
A broad, sandy beach backed with open, grassy play areas offers pleasant surroundings for families who enjoy lakeshore recreation. Windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming are popular activities. There is an adventure playground and a volleyball court.
Kinsmen Beach
Kinsmen Beach is the perfect place to relax and play on Lake Windermere! Kinsmen Beach is located just past Main Street on Invermere, perfect for walking to after lunch or peruse of local shops.
Located about 25 minutes drive north of Fairmont, find sandy beaches, picnic tables, washrooms, playgrounds, spray water park, concession stand, and kayak/canoe/SUP rentals.

Columbia Lake is a beautifully blue lake perfect for swimming, boating, and paddling! Explore the quieter side of the Columbia Valley by soaking up the sunshine on the beach or renting a paddleboard for a lake excursion.
To access Columbia Lake, head to Tilley Memorial Park in Canal Flats, about 20 minutes from Fairmont.
Lake Windermere
Lake Windermere is the perfect place to experience summer in the Columbia Valley. Swimming, boating, paddling, sunbathing, and beachgoing await!
Invermere has two access points. One under the bridge, turn left at the first lights and then left down the gravel access road. Second is below the Bayshore condos; through downtown, left just after the bakery and then on your left there is a small sign indicating the launch access.
Windermere has two boat launches. One at the Tretheway neighbourhood and one on lower Baltac Rd.
Kootenay River Runners
Kootenay River Runners offers half- or full-day trips out on the rapids! Choose your own adventure with three different rivers and creeks to book.
Your options include rafting the glacier-fed waters of the Toby Creek (fast & fun), Kootenay River (wilderness adventure) or Kicking Horse River (extreme whitewater) makes for an exhilarating day and a memorable vacation.
Columbia River Paddle
Columbia River Paddle offers a fleet of canoes, kayaks, and SUPs for a day out on the lake.

Golden Skybridge
Visit Canada's Highest Suspension Bridges! Explore the Golden Skybridge with amazing views of the canyon, creek and waterfall below. Young kids will love the fun adventure playground, and those up for adventure will take on the aerial park and zipline!
The Golden Skybridge is located a scenic 1.5 hour drive from properties in Fairmont Hot Springs & Panorama.

Did you know? Many species of birds call the Columbia Valley home! Fairmont Hot Springs is nestled in the BC Bird Trail! The Columbia Valley Bird Trail stretches alongside the Columbia River to Golden. Birders in the area will be treated to quiet birdwatching spots, scenic hiking trails, and serene paddles along the Columbia River.

Located just behind the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort mineral Hot Springs pools, the First Nations Baths are a unique spot to visit and soak in the history of the area. Here, visitors can view the rock tubs, sheltered in the rock bathhouse.
