Hot Springs

Truly the jewel of the Kootenays!

There is a mystical allure to hot springs. They offer a sense of sanctity, which inspires calm – and are therefore quite indicative of what the valley offers to visitors. One of the best ways to kick back and blow off the world is to soak in a mineral spring. The valley offers a variety of hot springs experiences – from rustic to full blown spas.

Lussier Hot Springs
Located at the entrance way to Whiteswan Provincial Park southeast of Canal Flats, Lussier Hot Springs is a rustic endeavor. Adjacent to Lussier Creek, these hot pools are often crowded nowadays as their renown continues to spread. Be prepared for a wait or brave the crowds.Lussier HS

Ram Creek Hot Springs
Located on Ram Creek Forest Service Road, which runs between Sheep Creek/Skookumchuck and the Top of the World Provincial Park road, this is also a rustic experience. The water of the large main pool is cooler and deeper than Lussier and this magical location, located within the Ram Creek Fire burn-site, is also becoming more and more popular, despite the rigorous vehicular adventure getting there. (Warning: the road to Ram Creek is poorly maintained)
